Our Philosophy
The Nature Of Our Craft
In an age of synthetic materials, virtual experiences, and artificial everything, we find something deeply satisfying in working with wood.
In Japan, the ancient Shinto tradition holds that all natural materials – a flower, a stone, a piece of wood – are imbued with spirit, and the craftsman’s task is not simply to shape the material, but to understand it and bring out the qualities already within.
It’s a philosophy that resonates with us at MARITIME. Every piece of wood is different, and there’s a special satisfaction in discovering its potential and transforming it into something beautiful, useful, and enduring.
We look forward to bringing this same attention and joyous spirit to your project.
Our Raison d’Être
A Focus Factory
Based in Stuart, Florida, the Sportfishing Capital of the World, MARITIME Wood Products was founded on a simple idea: bring consistency, quality, and value to a segment of the wood business too often defined by inconsistent materials, uneven craftsmanship, and unpredictable pricing.
And we believe our specialization makes the difference. As our company president recently explained to an industry audience:
“Anyone can sell teak. The difference is knowing which teak to use, how to machine it properly, how it performs over time, and how to fabricate it into a finished product that exceeds expectations. That’s where experience matters.”
Tina Antinoro, President
Our Process
Precision. Consistency. Value.
In Every Board Foot.
Our experience is your advantage. From wood selection, through milling and fabrication, we bring decades of practical knowledge to every project — delivering better solutions, consistent quality, and lasting value.

01
Selection
Our extensive inventory and established global supply network give us an exceptional selection of premium teak and hardwoods. This allows us to carefully match grain, color, and character of wood to the requirements of each project.

02
Milling
In-house milling and custom tooling capabilities gives us exceptional control over every detail, from grain, dimensions, profiles, and finish. While others are limited to the pre-milled stock they can find, we select and machine each project to your exact specifications.

03
Fabrication
Our experienced craftsmen bring it all together, transforming exceptional materials into beautifully crafted decks and interiors. From large custom layouts to high-volume production runs that have to be perfect, our people and process deliver outstanding results—and keep customers coming back.
